The Procurement Service
The Procurement Service has over 25 years of expertise and experience in commissioning public sector goods and services and in contract management. As part of Birmingham City Council, we are able to award contracts that provide quality goods and services and take advantage of our bulk buying power to deliver competitive prices.
In 2016/2017 we enabled over 300 organisations to place in excess of 7,000 temporary agency staff, manage the upkeep of over 1300 copiers , purchase over £15M worth of food and catering services, and enjoy the benefits of many services knowing they were EU compliant and legally protected through terms and conditions.
