Animal Welfare licence fees

Licences can run for 1, 2 or 3 years. The length of the licence depends on the type of licence and, in some cases, the star rating. The star rating is set after inspection and takes into account your previous compliance history.

Payment for a licence is usually required once the licence length has been confirmed.

Some licences also need a vet inspection. The applicant must pay the cost of the vet inspection as well as the fees shown.

Cost for the re-issue of an existing licence is £10.50.
