Animal Welfare licence fees

Licences can run for 1, 2 or 3 years, depending on the type of licence and in some cases the star rating – which will be determined following inspection and in consideration of previous compliance history. Payment for a licence is usually required when the length of the licence has been established.

For some licences a vet inspection is also necessary and the cost of this must be paid by the applicant, in addition to the fees shown.

Cost for the re-issue of an existing licence is £10.50.
