Sheltered and extra care housing schemes

Extra care housing schemes

Extra care housing schemes are aimed at people aged 55 years or over with support needs and some care needs. These schemes allow residents to live independently but give them access to care and support services on-site, for example a communal lounge, library services and assisted bathrooms.

We manage 4 extra care schemes:

  • The Laurels Extra Care Scheme in Sutton Coldfield
  • Radley Court Extra Care Scheme in Sheldon
  • Manor Court Extra Care Scheme in Acocks Green
  • Hasbury Court Extra Care Scheme in Bartley Green

If you are interested in applying for any of these schemes, complete our housing application form and tick the box to show that you are interested in sheltered and extra care housing.

The Extra Care Charitable Trust also has a wide range of extra care schemes you can buy, part-buy (shared ownership) and rent.
