Birmingham Smithfield will be a once in a generation opportunity to create a truly transformational development that will drive the city’s international standing and reputation.

The opportunity to reimagine 17 hectares of land in the heart of the city is rare, but one that this master plan has been designed to maximise.

In 2020, following a lengthy and complex competitive public procurement process, we formally appointed Lendlease Smithfield Development LLP as our Joint Venture Partner to deliver the Birmingham Smithfield Masterplan.

• have the ability to deliver projects effectively
• share our vision for transforming the area and unlocking growth

They also meet key delivery requirements, including the ‘Big Moves’ that support the our vision for transforming the area. This transformation aims to bring long-term economic and social prosperity to the city.
