Health and wellbeing strategy
The Health and Wellbeing Strategy addresses some of the critical challenges Birmingham faces. Delivering this strategy requires input from many organisations across the city.
It focuses on the needs of service users and communities, to tackle the factors that impact upon health and wellbeing across service boundaries.
In January 2017 the Board agreed to a set of updated priorities:
- Improve the wellbeing of children
- Improve the independence of adults
- Improve the wellbeing of the most disadvantaged
- Make Birmingham a Healthy City
Measures and targets will be set to ensure the success and the impact of delivery against the strategy can be measured.
