The White Swan

The white swan photograph

The White Swan on Harborne Road, photographed in 1933 by William A Clark (Warwickshire Photographic Survey), aside a photograph taken in November 2012.

In 1933 the White Swan sold Mitchell's and Butler's ales, and posters put up in the bay windows of the pub state "Today Beers and Stouts Reduced." The wall at the front of the pub has since been removed as the front of the pub is fenced off, with the main entrance to the White Swan now coming from the car park area.
