The Earl Grey

The earl grey photograph

The Earl Grey photographed in 1896 by A.G. Davis and then again in 2012. Located on the corner of Pershore Road and Balsall Heath Road, the building appears to have gone through a few changes to the rear, and also minor modifications such as adding windows and surrounding features.

At the time of the second photograph the building is not operating as a public house, and has since been used as an Estate Agent and Investments Office. However, in 1896, it sold Bass and Co. trademark pale ale as well as Holder's pale and mild ales.
