A Birmingham Corporation rate map c1860 to 1895.

The map shows the Racket Court (Inn) public house behind which was Bath Street Racquets Club, where games similar to Fives, or modern day Squash would have been played. Secretary of the club was Major Thomas Henry Gem better known as Harry. Harry along with his friend and playing partner Spanish merchant J B A Perera would later go on to document the rules of Lawn Tennis.

The Racket Court Inn would today be located opposite St Chad's Cathedral on St Chad's Queensway approximately where the hotel stands.
