This Victorian pub has seen a rise to become a well known gig venue these days. Its interior boasts a raised stage and psychedelic murals and has also been the scene of a rare victory against property developers who wanted to shut down live music at the venue. Local stars UB40 put on a concert there to help its cause. It also is part of a wider complex of nearby venues which host club nights and more laid back gigs.
