Previously known as the National Indoor Arena (1991 to 2014) and The Barclaycard Arena (2014 to 2017).

The National Indoor Arena is situated near to the Broad Street canal basin. It started life as a dedicated indoor sports arena. It was opened in October 1991 and still continues to host indoor sporting events. However, shortly after opening the venue started hosting music concerts on a regular basis.

It has a rather steep banked 3 sides of seats and usually a seated floor. It has a 12,000 to 14,000 capacity. Over the years artists including Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Oasis, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Black Keys, Kings Of Leon have performed here.

In 2012 it was announced that the arena was to be expanded with more facilities becoming available, and the redeveloped arena was officially opened in December 2014. For further details visit their website.
