Housing rent refund request form

If you have overpaid your rent, you may be entitled to a refund. You can request a refund using this form.

Before we process your refund, we will check for any debts you owe to Birmingham City Council. We will deduct these from the amount refunded. This applies to all housing debts, regardless of age or type.

You must allow up to 10 weeks for the refund to be processed. If you have not heard from us after 10 weeks, you can assume no refund is due.

We may contact you to verify your bank account details.
