Secondary school transfer - offers at 1 March 2022

Pupils will today find out which secondary school they will attend in September.

Birmingham pupils

15,214 Birmingham pupils applied to transfer to secondary school, up from 14,108 in 2021.
14,987 (98.5%) Number of applications received online
74,260 Total number of preferences submitted (up 3,801).
14,442 (94.93%) Offered one of their chosen preferences.
759 (4.99%) Offered a school place that was not one of their preferences (up 1.45%).
1,364 Offered a school outside of Birmingham, compared to 1,480 in 2021.
