If you are a tenant experiencing domestic abuse
Call 999 or go to your local police station for immediate help if you or someone else is in danger or a crime is in progress. If you are unable to speak, 999 operators can still connect you to police. The operator will listen for background noises. Find out how to make silent 999 calls.

If you need to leave your home for safety
If it is not safe to stay in your home, contact the Domestic Abuse Housing Solution and Support Service as soon as you can.
- Telephone: 0121 272 8905
- Email: bhmhousingsolutions@cranstoun.org.uk
- Lines open: Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 9:00am to 4:15pm
We may be able to help you move back to your home and live there safely at a later date. For this reason, we strongly advise that you do not:
- post your door keys through your letterbox
- return your door keys to your landlord
Actions like this could make it look like you have left your home permanently. It may make it difficult for us to help you move back if and when it is safe to do so.
