The public consultation for the Newhall traffic management scheme was completed in Spring 2023.

We have used the feedback to finalise the plans, and construction is expected to start in summer 2025.
About the project
The Newhall traffic management scheme is part of a bigger project to improve the streets around Snow Hill Station, making it easier for people to walk, cycle, or use public transport.
Improvements include:
- the reinstatement of two-way traffic on Newhall Street
- the introduction of two-way traffic to a section of Bennetts Hill
- the reversal of the direction of flow of one-way traffic on a section of Waterloo Street and Temple Row West
