As part of the City Council’s commitment to improving our online services to Birmingham citizens, we have launched a new electronic billing system which forms a small part of the BRUM account.
The paperless billing system gives you the choice to view your council tax or business rates bills, rather than receiving them in the post. This is better for the environment and saves money on postage and paper.
It’s simple to register, and following registration and authentication, your council tax and business rates bills can be viewed electronically.
Once you have authenticated your account, you can sign into your council tax and/or business rates online account to:
view or update your account information
check your balance, payments, bills, and recovery notices
manage your paperless billing options
update your contact details
Before you can sign up for electronic billing you will need to sign in or register for a BRUM account, this will allow you to keep track of all your communications with the council.
Register for an account
After registering you will be taken to your BRUM account where you'll find a link to the Council Tax or Busines Rates Online.
