Our performance is benchmarked against England and other local authorities. Birmingham is performing well on some indicators but mainly performance is poor due to social and economic issues e.g. unemployment and poverty, and lifestyles e.g. physical inactivity, poor diet, alcohol and smoking.
Other Outcome Frameworks
There are various other outcome frameworks and health profiles available for looking at particular public health issues in more depth. These include:
- Adults Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF)
Provides a range of data about people who use or have the potential to use Adult Social Care Services - NHS Outcomes Framework (NHSOF)
