Winson Green Road - Heath Street Phase 4
Work on this fourth phase of construction started in November 2022. The works are due to be completed in spring 2024.
The works include:
- upgrading facilities for pedestrians and cyclists with the introduction of sections of segregated cycleway as well as shared use pedestrian/cycle footway
- reducing traffic congestion with the introduction of waiting and loading restrictions around junctions and on lengths of Heath Street and Winson Green Road
- improving the signalised Winson Green Road/Heath Street junction
- landscape enhancements with new tree and shrub planting
