Business Growth Programme 2 Case Studies:

Flower & White Ltd secured a BGP2 grant to help purchase cutting edge machinery to enable it to meet its 40% growth forecasts and establish itself as a leading UK innovator in the confectionary world.

Hector Finch Ltd secured a BGP2 grant to transform its production process and expand its workforce.

Masstech Solutions Ltd is a start-up engineering company which specialises in the manufacture of precision engineered components.  The company successfully applied for a BGP2 grant to support start-up capital costs, including the purchase of CNC machinery.

Iron and Fire Ltd is a specialist coffee company which grew from a kitchen table start-up to expand into new business premises in Shrewsbury.  The BGP2 grant was used to invest in capital equipment and a new website and ordering system.

HS2 Supply Chain Programme case studies:

VR Simulations used a HS2SCP grant to develop a lightweight portable version of a PTI simulator, targeted at the rail sector.

Reliance Medical Ltd accessed a BGP HS2 grant to relocate to state of the art premises in Kidsgrove, Staffordshire to facilitate their current demand and prepare to supply the HS2 supply chain with first aid and medical needs for the construction and operational phases.

Cameron Price have used the HS2 grant to buy new machinery and to successfully diversify in to the rail sector.

Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme case studies:

Hollywood Monster used the Green Bridge funding to buy state-of-the-art printers.

Allied Socket & Screws used the Green Bridge funding to buy new CNC machinery.

Business Innovation Programme case studies:

ELLUC used a Business Innovation Programme grant to support their growth plans, which included capital equipment.

RH Nuttall used the Business Innovation Programme grant to buy a new power head press to make them more competitive.

Business Development Programme case studies:

Cox Exhibitions had a Business Development Programme grant to help them expand premises in Hockley Heath and take on more staff.

Touch Systems, an IT company, used their Business Development Programme grant to expand their offices and take on new staff.

Cava Security Services Ltd were operating the business out of two different sites which was inefficient, so with support from the Business Development Programme they migrated their services into one larger premises and increased their staff levels.

Jesmonite Ltd used their grant assistance to internationalise the Jesmonite brand, creating a central hub Content Management System website, thereby facilitating several satellite websites with country specific domains.
