How to make a formal high hedges complaint

To make a complaint, download and complete the high hedges complaint form. Return it to us by post or email, including any supporting documents. You will find details about what to include in the notes at the end of the form.

Once your complaint has been validated by a council adjudicator, you will be asked to pay the high hedges fee of £350.

Do not pay the fee until we contact you to confirm your complaint is valid for registration.

The adjudicator will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and carry out a validation process. They will then let you know how to pay.

There is no set time for the council to decide on a complaint. As a general guide, you should not expect a decision for at least 12 weeks.

Make sure you have read the high hedges information before downloading and completing the complaint form.
