Carers Emergency Response Service

Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS) is operated by Midland Mencap and is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

All care and support staff are qualified and experienced in caring roles.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can provide support for up to 48 hours (72 hours on Bank Holidays), after which, longer-term care can be arranged if necessary.

Emergency Duty Team

In an emergency out of regular office hours, phone the Out Of Hours Service on 0121 675 4806.

A trained social care worker will speak to you over the phone to assess the situation and help you to make emergency cover arrangements.
