Apply for an older person's bus pass
Bus passes are issued by Transport for the West Midlands (TfWM), not the council.
Who can apply
You can get an older person’s bus pass when you reach State Pension age, which is currently 66. It does not matter if you’re a man or a woman.
You can check when you will be eligible using the State Pension age calculator on GOV.UK.
When to apply
You can apply up to 4 weeks before you turn 66.
