The Big Swap: free uniforms and books
Community swap event for families at the Hub on the Green, with free items, stories and poetry.
Choose from a wide range of free school uniforms and children’s books at the Big Swap.
This community event is designed to help families cut costs and get children reading. It is the Hub’s biggest swap so far, with plenty to browse and take home.
You can also enjoy:
- storytelling with local author Bea Jay Evans
- poems written on the spot by Hub poet Robbie Lea‑Trengrouse
The event is part of Go All In 26, the National Year of Reading.
