The Nutcracker at Birmingham Hippodrome
A magical Christmas ballet with falling snow, a 30-foot tree and a live orchestra.
On Christmas Eve, Clara is given a Nutcracker doll at her parents’ party. That night, she sneaks downstairs and is swept into a magical world of toy soldiers, snowflakes and dancing sweets.
With a live orchestra, daring swordfights and a 30-foot Christmas tree, this festive ballet is a treat for all ages.
Performances
The show lasts around 2 hours and 10 minutes, including a break. It’s suitable for ages 5 and over.
Performances will take place on selected dates between Friday 21 November and Saturday 13 December 2025.
