Creative artists exhibition
Step into a world of colour, sound and stories made by artists who think and create differently.
This exhibition celebrates creative work by a group of artists from Handsworth.
Their art explores identity, nature and personal expression through different forms:
- painting, drawing and sculpture
- textiles, photography and digital work
- music and sound pieces
The artists are part of a collective supported by Access to Heritage, Art and Culture (ATHAC).
ATHAC is a Handsworth-based social enterprise that helps neurodivergent and learning disabled people take part in arts and culture.
Each piece of art was made during workshops led by disabled and neurodivergent mentors. The result is a vibrant mix of personal expression and shared experience.
Visitors can explore how these artists turn their ideas into bold, colourful and surprising art.
The Hive is open Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am to 3:30pm.
