Join Aurella Yussuf for a free guided tour of Ikon’s exhibition Donald Locke: Resistant Forms.

The exhibition explores themes of history, identity and transformation through:

  • early ceramics inspired by nature and the human body
  • large-scale paintings and sculptures
  • work by Donald Locke, a Guyanese artist who moved to the UK in 1954

Aurella Yussuf is a writer and art historian who focuses on Black artists in Britain and beyond. She’s a founding member of Thick/er Black Lines and co-creator of the Blk Art Map.
