International Day of Birmingham run
Join The Goodsyard Run Club for a free 6K run through Birmingham.
This run is inspired by the United States of Birmingham, a project by comedian Joe Lycett.
In 2024, Joe visited cities called Birmingham across North America and linked them with our own Brum. He created a list of 10 very Birmingham things to do. This run follows that list.
You’ll start at The Goodsyard and finish at The Jewellers Arms. Along the way, you’ll stop at famous Birmingham spots and take part in fun challenges.
What to expect:
- a free, social 6K run with a guide
- music from the official United States of Birmingham playlist
- stops at places including:
- the Bull, to eat a Curly Wurly
- Southside, to honour Mr Egg
- Digbeth, to celebrate Birds Custard
- Colmore Square, to say “Alright Bab”
- a cob at the end!
You can stay after the run for a drink and a chat.
It's free to take part but you must reserve your place; visit the Eventbrite website.
