Donald Locke - Resistant forms
Discover powerful works by Guyanese-British artist Donald Locke at the Ikon Gallery.
This is the first major UK exhibition of Donald Locke’s work.
It includes:
- ceramics inspired by nature and the human body
- paintings and sculptures that explore history and identity
- art made during his time in Britain after moving from Guyana in 1954
The exhibition has been organised in partnership with Spike Island and Camden Art Centre, with support from the Donald Locke Estate.
The Ikon Gallery is open on Tuesdays to Sundays, from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
