Discover the treasures held by Birmingham's great and global Shakespeare Collection.
Birmingham was the first place in the world to open a public library dedicated to Shakespeare. It became an expression of the city’s radical spirit and provided access to education and culture to everybody.
This exhibition tells the story of how the Birmingham Shakespeare Collection came to be, and how it still resonates with the diverse city today.
