The main entrance, with car park, is via Church Road.
Other entrances are via Northfield Shopping Centre, St Lawrence Road and Heath Road South.
Served by several bus routes and within walking distance of Northfield railway station.

A surprising contrast to the built-up area nearby, Victoria Common is a peaceful but well used green space located right at the heart of Northfield Town Centre.
By using the pedestrian access next to Northfield Shopping Centre's car park, the visitor can leave the crowds behind and discover a leafy alternative.
A mix of grassland, gardens and sport and play facilities, the park was opened to the public in 1897 on the site of an ancient village space called Bradley’s Field. Still visible in places are the deep furrows used in the medieval strip farming method known as “ridge and furrow” together with apple trees remaining from the former allotment area, now developed into a community orchard.
