About the park

Inner city park with games and sports areas.

In the eighteenth century the land was owned by Elizabeth Hollier and subsequently left in her will to be rented out for charitable purposes. Birmingham City Council bought the fields in 1875 from the Trustees of her charity, turning them into a recreational area.
