About the park

Covering 22 acres, Cotteridge Park is one of the many Victorian Parks in Birmingham with plenty of open space, facilities and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Among its many amenities are sports courts and pitches, playgrounds a skateboard park and even an open-air amphitheatre, which is a great location for events.

Walkers are catered for with easily accessible paths and a longer walking route is possible around the entire perimeter of the park.

In addition, a new community and activities building called The Shed has been set up thanks to funding secured by the Friends of Cotteridge Park Group. It is proving to be a very popular social hub, laying on activities to cater for everyone’s tastes and hobbies. These range from woodcarving and coffee mornings to ‘knit and natter’ sessions.

Regular public events are also laid on, including the annual CoCoMAD festival, which is a celebration of community, music, art dance, science and circus.
