- Two offences relating to conditions found at AM Pakistan Catering, 188-192 Gooch Street, Birmingham B5 7HY. Food which was unsafe was placed on the market for sale, in that chicken curry was unfit for human consumption due to the presence of Clostridium Perfingens. No permanent procedures were in place based on HACCP and the existing Food Safety Management system was not reassessed/modified/updated to reflect that for the two days of EID food would be hot held on the premises for customers to collect. Due diligence records were not available at the time of inspection. Two separate family groups experienced food poisoning symptoms following consumption of food collected from the premises. Found guilty following trial.
