- Nine offences; eight offences relating to conditions at Rodroj Fish & Chips, 39 Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, B5 4HQ during two separate inspection dates. The Company failed to comply with four Hygiene Improvement Notices which required up to date and accurate information to be available for all food and drink with regards to the 14 prescribed allergens, to ensure staff receive adequate training, to put in place, implement and maintain permanent procedures based on the HACCP principles and to carry out works to ensure that a toilet does not open directly into a room handling food. During the second inspection, the company had no procedures in place based on HACCP principles, drainage facilities were inadequate, lavatories opened directly into food rooms and there was no evidence that staff had received adequate training. And one offence following an inspection at Rodroj Convenience Store, 35 – 37 Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham, B5 4HQ of failing to comply with a Hygiene Improvement Notice requiring they put in place, implement and maintain permanent procedures based on the HACCP principles.
