- Found guilty in their absence of five offences relating to conditions at Meat Club, 169-171 Hagley Road, Birmingham. There were inadequate procedures in place to control pests and the premises was not kept clean. There was evidence of mouse droppings on the kitchen floor, floor/wall junctions, equipment, fixtures and fittings, and around the coffee machine in the bar. Food was not protected against contamination, mouse droppings were found in a tub storing onions, on packets of cheese in the walk-in chiller, on the oil container, in the sieve in the utensil container and on the worktop next to plates for service.
