About the school

Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry primary school and has approximately 395 pupils on roll. The school also has a 36 place Resource Base.

Our curriculum offer and enrichment opportunities support the pupils of Allens Croft well. In addition to the core and foundation subjects, we also deliver a Creative Arts, Pastoral and Outdoor Learning curriculum.

The main responsibilities of a Governor
We welcome all applications, particularly with knowledge or skills in finance, teaching and learning and/or health and safety.

Day and times of most meetings

The full governing board meets once per half-term and meetings are usually held on a Wednesday at 4pm. We have at least one Governing Body Development Day which takes place on the same day as one of the FGB meetings.

The time commitment
Approximately 10 days per year spent attending meetings, visiting the school from time-to-time and undertaking relevant training.
