- Found guilty in their absence of four offences relating to conditions found at Prime Shop 24 Ltd, 29 Alum Rock Road, Birmingham during a food hygiene inspection. There were mouse droppings on the floor at floor/wall junctions throughout the premises, food equipment and fixtures and fittings were dirty and greasy. There were holes and gaps within the structure of the premises providing ingress for pests. Articles, fittings and equipment were not effectively cleaned and disinfected, metal food preparation tables, plastic containers storing food, and dry food shelving on which package food was stored were all dirty. A rodent had gnawed a sack of rice in the shop and a bag of white and black naan bread seeds.
