- 11 offences relating to conditions found at Rodroj Original Turkish Kebab House, 25-27 Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham on two separate occasions. The premises was dirty and poorly maintained and there were holes large enough to allow the ingress of mice. Food equipment was damaged and in poor condition, ready to eat food and food ingredients were not protected from contamination. Mouse droppings were evident throughout the kitchen and servery. There was no evidence of any food hygiene training for food handlers on site. There were no permanent procedures implemented based on HACCP principles. One offence of having a carton of milk on display for sale past its use by date and three offences of failing to comply with Improvement Notices requiring up to date and accurate information to be provided in relation to allergens, staff to be adequately trained in food hygiene and a permanent procedure to be put in place, implemented and maintained based on the HACCP principles.
