Five offences relating to conditions at Malhi Supermarket, 220 Bacchus Road, Birmingham. Cleaning procedures were poor and unsuitable allowing access to pests. There was evidence of pests activity in that rodent droppings were identified. A large number of food items, including onions, peppers, cauliflowers, cough sweets, cakes, biscuits and crackers, were contaminated by rodents and prepacked ready to eat food had been gnawed and consumed by rodents. Rodent droppings were found on shelving amongst ready to eat food.
