Found guilty in absence of 18 offences relating to the poor conditions found at Kurd Naan Junction, 3 Formans Road, Birmingham on five separate dates between August 2023 and February 2024. There were mouse droppings throughout the premises, including the kitchen, servery and storeroom and there were holes in the premises which could allow access to pests. There were inadequate procedures based on the principles of HACCP to ensure food was handled and sold safely and hygienically. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and mouse droppings in the kitchen and customer area. The ceiling by the rear storeroom was leaking water. The Company failed to comply with four Hygiene Improvement Notices requiring they implement permanent procedures based on HACCP, that staff were suitably trained in food hygiene matters, to ensure there were suitable hand washing facilities available and to ensure that the premises was pest proofed and free from pests.
