About the park

Conveniently situated in the heart of the Mere Green community, in the northern part of Sutton Coldfield, this recreation ground is packed with sporting and leisure facilities.

Its large play area, stocked with equipment and climbing frames, make it perfect for families with young children. It is also well used by people who want to play basketball, crown green bowling and tennis.

The recreation ground is also located next to the Mere Green Library and Community Centre, which offers a range of activities from music and fitness classes to baby and toddler time and older people’s sessions.

It is also close to the Mere Green commercial centre, so people can combine shopping and retail therapy locally with family fun at the recreation ground.
