Covid-19 (coronavirus) update

This site is reopening on Thursday 27 August with a reduced timetable.

All gym sessions and fitness classes must be booked in advance. You can do this using our online booking system or by telephoning the centre. Bookings will open from 9am on Wednesday 26 August.

Working out is going to look a bit different for a while and we’ve had to make some changes to your leisure facility. Please read our reopening information for details of centre rules, new safety measures and membership information.

The Alexander Stadium is an international-standard athletics venue located in the heart of the country that hosts major events, such as the Diamond League series and British Championships. It is also home to the world-famous Birchfield Harriers Athletics Club, and for Birmingham 2022 will be modernised with a post-Games permanent capacity of 20,000 – up from the current 12,700.
