To become a member of be active (gym/swimming) you will need two forms of ID with your name and address on. The following will be accepted:

  • council tax bill – paid to Birmingham City Council
  • utility bill
  • tenancy agreement
  • driving licence
  • bank statement
  • benefit statement
  • medical card

For customers living in residential hostels or similar communal accommodation, a letter on official letterhead confirming residential status and signed by the manager of the accommodation is acceptable.

Gym: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 10:30am // Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 10am

Swimming: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 4pm // Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 9am
