When the bells of peace are ringing (c1914 to 1918) 2

When the bells of peace are ringing 2 c 1914 1918 illustrated verse

"When the Bells of Peace are ringing,
And the boys are marching home,
Back to dear old "Blighty,"
To the girls they left across the foam (God Bless 'em),
All the parsons will be working overtime,
Joining two hearts into one,
And they'll be such fun when the fighting's done,
And the boys come marching home."
