Tickets showing concerts by local rock bands Quartz , who were supported by Diamond Head and on the other date Cryer.
Of the three, Stourbridge's Diamond Head became the most well known nationally and internationally. They were part of the so called New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and became known for their formative influence on American Metal stars Metallica. They are still together and still tour.
Quartz released a few albums but they didn't make much impact nationally. The 1 December date was recorded for their live album Live Quartz released in 1980.
Cryer were a very respected band on the local scene who unfortunately never made the big time.
