She is of no country now.
Who has been of all men's land;
She will tarry for no vow;
She is fairer, we allow,
Than she seemed beside our hand.Ever on the sea-ward tack,
Still she sails, the while we yearn.
Well she knows we feel her lack,
With a half smile looking back,
And half promise to return.She shall not return, nor we
Are betrayed by this her smile;
Though she sail the shoreless sea,
Her sweet sister, Memory,
