The Sun Inn photographed c1950s by Birmingham City Council Public Works Department was located on the Bristol Street and Sun Street.
The photograph was most likely taken to survey the area that would make way for the new ring road was constructed using Lee Bank Road and Sun Street to form Lee Bank Middleway.
