The Roebuck

The roebuck photograph

The Roebuck situated on the corner of William Street and St Martin's Street. These two streets no longer cross, in their place are the small residential roads of Roseland Way and apartments at Shepherds Gardens, which is the approximate location of the pub.

The Roebuck is another example of a terracotta pub designed by James and Lister Lea in close proximity to their other work; the Bull's Head (now City Tavern) and the King's Arms.
