About the planning committee
The planning committee is responsible for larger and more sensitive planning applications - around 10% of all applications we receive.
It allows planning applications to be discussed and allows those who may be affected by them to comment.
When the committee meet
The planning committee meets in rooms 3 and 4, Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B3 3AA at 11:00am. There will be no planning committee meeting in May 2026, but future meeting dates will be:
