All about me
I have been a Councillor in Yardley since 1986 and during this period of time I have taken up thousands of individual problems and community issues with the City Council.
To ensure that I keep in touch with residents I deliver regular newsletters to inform residents about the action I have taken on their behalf. I also carry out regular surveys on local issues. The survey provides an opportunity for residents to pass their opinion on local services which are provided by the Council. All areas of concern are taken up with the appropriate Council department.
I also live in Yardley and therefore know the area very well and understand the issues that are of concern to local people.
My main interests are reducing crime, tackling anti social behaviour, housing issues and transportation issues.
I am always available to provide help or assistance on individual or community based issues. Please get in touch with me if you require help or assistance. I will as ever try my very best to help. I also welcome the opportunity to attend meetings of residents and community groups. By working in partnership we can together achieve improvements in the Yardley area.
By working as a team we can and have achieved significant improvements in the Yardley area, but as always there is still more to be done.

Councillors will always try to attend their advice surgeries; however there may be times, when an advice surgery has to be cancelled or changed at short notice. There is no legal requirement for Councillors to keep the advice surgery open for the full time.
